As a junior accounts executive you will be required to account for financial transactions and create financial reports from that information. The creation of financial transactions includes posting information to accounting journals or accounting software from such source documents as invoices to customers, cash receipts, and supplier invoices.


  • A-level certification in Accounts
  • Strong communication skills – both written and spoken in Maltese and English
  • Knowledge of SAGE accounting software is considered an asset
  • Must be organised
  • Able to work on own initiative


  • Record day to day financial transactions including posting of sales invoices, supplier invoices and sales receipts
  • Posting cheque books and performing bank reconciliations
  • Trade receivables and trade debtors reconciliations
  • Maintain orderly accounting system
  • Bring the books to trial balance stage
  • Perform VAT reconciliations and submit VAT returns
