The Role

The Accounts department is growing and are seeking to onboard a Payroll Specialist to join their dynamic team.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of payroll administrators.
  • Prepare and execute payroll for clients.
  • Handle client’s requests and queries.
  • Assist clients with the onboarding and offboarding of their employees.
  • Ensure client’s records and information are updated and in line with employment regulations.
  • Maintain client confidence in line with GDPR.


Required Skills and attributes:

  • Ability to communicate excellently in English, both verbally and written.
  • Ability to develop and maintain healthy and successful relationship with clients.
  • Ability to manage a team and assisting team members where necessary to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Prioritisation and time-management skills.
  • Critical thinking skills.


Academic and Experience:

  • Three to five years’ experience in payroll.
  • HR related qualifications will be considered as an asset.
  • Knowledge of Maltese Employment law.
  • Experience in working with HR systems such as Shireburn Indigo, Salaroo or similar.
