Norbert is a Certified Public Accountant and registered Auditor with 34 years of experience, of which 30 years in audit. He is a fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants.

Prior to joining CSA Group, Norbert was a Director with a Big 4 audit firm.

In the initial years of his career, Norbert worked as a management accountant providing bookkeeping services and preparing monthly management accounts of a variety of clients ranging from manufacturing and service companies. He also used to prepare cashflow statements and assisted clients in designing internal controls.

After 5 years, Norbert moved to audit where he was involved in audits of statutory financial statements of a variety of clients including groups and subsidiaries of large multinational groups. He acted both as group auditor as well as component auditor reporting to group auditors. He led teams on audits of financial statements of clients which operated in a variety of industries ranging from banks, fund managers, manufacturing, retail and service, construction, shipping and aviation. He has experience on both listed and non-listed companies.

At CSA Group, Norbert is a Director on the Company providing auditing and assurance services. He is the Head of Audit, leading a team of over 20 professionals. He is responsible for a portfolio of clients which operate in a wide range of industries including investment, construction, services, retail, hospitality, shipping, gaming and manufacturing.
