The Role 

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Audit Associate to join the team and ensure client Auditing requirements are met.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Providing Audit and Financial Reporting services of different entities within various industries.
  • Ensuring that all audits are carried out according to deadline and preparing tax computations.
  • Supporting Audit Partners and Managers in day-to-day activities.
  • Applying audit standards through practical application.
  • Holding meetings with clients to discuss audit results.
  • Assisting the Audit team in other duties when necessary.

 

Required Skills and attributes: 

  • Possess an appropriate combination of technical expertise in fields such as auditing, accounting, finance, & technology.
  • Good communication skills and level of English, and ideally Maltese.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel software.
  • Experience using SAGE and XERO accounting software packages would be beneficial.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Accurate with work and highly attentive to detail.
  • Good problem solver and quick to learn.

 

Academic and Experience: 

  • Minimum A’ level in Accounts, and currently pursuing the ACCA qualification (or holding an Accounting / Finance Degree).
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an audit and accounts position, ideally within a Corporate Accounting firm.
