The Role 

Our Accounts department is seeking an experienced Payroll Executive to further support our busy and diligent team, ensuring the payroll requirements of our client portfolios are met.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the preparation and execution of payroll for assigned clients, processing all statutory deductions and submissions.
  • Handle client’s requests and queries related to payroll.
  • Assist clients with the onboarding and offboarding of their employees.
  • Ensure client’s records and information are updated and in line with employment regulations.
  • Maintain client confidentiality in line with GDPR.
  • Handle online applications, including but not limited to Jobs Plus forms, FS5 and FS7 submissions.
  • Collaborating with Finance and HR departments.
  • Coordinate and update progress within the team.

 

Academic and Experience: 

  • At least 2 years’ experience in Payroll, ideally within a CSP or client accounting firm.
  • A minimum O’ level standard of education.
  • Payroll or HR related qualifications will be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Maltese Employment law.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, and ideally with experience using Payroll software systems such as Shireburn Indigo, Salaroo or similar.

  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as within a team, and assisting team members where necessary to ensure deadlines are met.
