The Role 

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Associate to join and assist in the growth of our Advisory services department. The role focuses on a variety of client projects related to EU and local funding schemes, grant applications, ESG, and Financial related engagements.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Support client requirements with the execution of various corporate finance related projects, including the planning, execution, and reporting of.
  • Assist in the compilation of comprehensive cost-benefit analysis to evaluate the financial viability of projects and initiatives.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative research on the markets and/or target companies.
  • Support in devising feasibility studies to assess the potential risks and benefits associated with proposed projects or investments.
  • Develop financial forecasts and models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, perform analysis, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements based on analysis and forecasting results.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings to discuss progress on projects and develop strategies for improvement, developing strong relationships with clients to ensure successful project completion.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact financial forecasts and analyses.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across different departments to ensure a cohesive approach to problem-solving.
  • To carry out any other ‘ad hoc’ assignments related to the Advisory and closely working departments that arise from time to time.

 

Academic and Experience: 

  • Degree level within a Banking or Finance related subject, or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
  • At least 3 (three) years’ experience within the Professional Services sector, ideally with experience in some of the above-mentioned tasks.
  • Candidates with a varied background in Professional or Financial Services sectors will be considered favorably.
  • A strong working knowledge of Tender identification, Client Solutions, Malta Enterprise Schemes and eligibility, and Environmental Social Governance (ESG) would be an asset.
